The Presidential debate earlier this week didn’t touch on North Korea, and more than a few people noticed.

While it’s a real shame there wasn’t any discussion on the national stage about the last remaining Stalinist dictatorship in the world then, there has been some really interesting coverage by the New York Times over the past couple of months. They’ve looked into the always complicated relationship between the Republic of Korea (South Korea) and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (North Korea). Likewise, they’ve explored the on-going saga of North Korean and Chinese relations, which strike me as being utter “frenemies”.
